Meteors and Trees.

I've set up a Xanga account. My plans are for it to be slightly more personal. I doubt I'll update it often....but it's there.
School starts really soon. Hopefully I can move in this Wednesday and set up some stuff for RHA. I'm basically ready for the semester to begin.
Tonight was the Perseid meteor shower; the picture below shows what of it I got to see.

Clouds and Light pollution. Yes.. I saw nothing. My sister and I made some plans to go up on top of the mountian and view the sky but those plans were crushed with the weight of water vapor! It's okay. I've only been talking about this damn meteor shower for a month.

Mary, Justin's Mother, has aquired and potted a bonsai tree for me. It's a Madagascar Baobab tree. It is rather delightfully tortured into a small pot. I'll have to post pictures of it in the near future. Hopefully my dorm room with provide it with the desert conditions it has adapted to. Pity there's no plant that can be watered with flat beer.
