Alive and well...

Life is especially rough in Huntsville right now. Not only is half of our department dead or seriously injured, I've lost mentors, teachers, my boss, and friends. It is an inconceivable waste of knowledge and brilliance. I am thankful that my adviser is alive and well! My life as an academic would be pretty much over had I lost Dr. Stallsmith. As for Amy Bishop--I'm ashamed that I have worked with her and that her name is on one of my papers. It goes to show you that even when things are going good, you can never count on your next day.
